A lot to do before Christmas that all will be ready on date. All I cannot finish, so once again I will be late with my gifts. It has the advantage that the gifts don´t go down between all others and always find compliance ;-)
Vor ein paar Wochen habe ich meine handmade-Schildchen zum einnähen und aufbügeln bekommen. Ich habe sie freudig ausgepackt, weil sie noch vor Weihnachten da waren und dann einen Flunsch gezogen, die zweite Zeile hat gefehlt! Das Handarbeit mit Liebe gemacht wird, versteht sich doch von selbst! Ich wollte eben auch sagen, von wem. Also habe ich angerufen und ganz zaghaft reklamiert. Und ich habe neue Schildchen für umsonst bekommen! Da hab ich mich mal gefreut, das fand ich toll. Und gestern sind sie und gekommen, einen halben Tag zu spät, weil ich das erste schon ohne Namen verschickt habe.
Some weeks ago I got my handmade-plates to sew and iron. I opened the package with a smile and was angry, because they forgot the second line with the name. Of course mandmade will made with love! But I want to show who made it. So I called the supplier And claimed gingerly and I got new ones for free! What a pleasure. And yesterday they came ... a half day too late, because I shipped the first package without the name.
Meine Kollegin hat mir mal wieder ein Projekt übergeben, dass ich datwischengeschoben habe, darum bin ich auch wieder spät mit meinen eigenen Sachen. Die Oma hat ihr einen Schal aus Bändchengarn gestrickt, allerdings im Strang und nicht als Lamelle. Ich hab es wieder aufgetrennt, weil man ein Bändchengarn nicht einfach grade hoch stricken kann, das sieht einfach schal aus. Beim Auftrennen kam mir mal wieder eine Idee, im Moment sieht man überall die Loop-Schals die man als geschlossenen Ring um den Hals legt. Ich hab nun schon einige Anleitungen gesehen, aber so eine war nicht dabei. Also hab ich doch mal einen Versuch gestartet, ich hatte ja nur ein Knäuel, da krieg ich keinen 2m-Schal raus. Und es schaut gut aus und gefällt auch der Besitzerin. Hat ja wieder mal gut geklappt :-)
My colleague gave me once again a project that I switched between. That´s the reason why I´m late with my own things. Her grandmother knitted a shawl from ribbon-yarn but she made it with the full thread not as lamella. I opened it, because you cannot knoit straight away this yarn this looks not right. By opening once again I got an idea. At the moment you always can see loops, the closed round ring you put in the neck. I saw a lot of patterns for that, but nothing with ribbon-yarn. So I made a test because I only had on skein. I cannot knit a 2m shawl with it. And it looks good and the owner is happy. Another good job I made :-)
Und weil ich selber auch noch zwei einzelne Knäuel hatte habe ich für Ihre Tochter auch noch einen gestrickt. Es ist ein schmalers Band und damit ist der Loop auch nicht so augewuschelt. Aber er hat einen Glitzerfade im Lila, darum habe ich ihn auch mit der dunklen Farbe nach außen gestrickt. Und hier ist jetzt mein erstes handmade-Schildchen drin.
And as I have also two single skeins I made also one for her daughter. It is a smaller ribbon so the loop is not so big. But it hat glimmer line in the lilac, so I used the dark colour outside. And here my first handmade label is inside.
