das klingt, wie: Spinnrad auf den Rücken gebunden, in die Berge marschiert und dort rumgesponnen *lach
Aber es war dann doch etwas weniger rustikal. Einfach nur das Spinnrad bei dem wunderschönen Wetter auf die Sonnenterasse gestellt und neben einem Hörbuch mit einem Ohr den Garten genießen. Das war Freitag nach der Arbeit.

But it was less rustical. Only put my spinning wheel onto the terasse with sunny weather and with one ear in the audiobook and the other in the garden enjoying anything. That was on Friday afternoon.

Wir hatten 30°C im Schatten, auf der Terasse ging ein kleines Lüftchen, so dass es nicht wie im Backofen war.
We had 30°C in the shadow, on the terasse we had a light breeze so that it was not like in a oven.

Aber den Katzen ist das immer zu heiß, sie schleichen so lange rum und suchen ein schattiges Plätzchen, dass sie mir immer leid tun. Wer läuft auch schon freiwillig bei der Hitze mit einem Pelzmantel herum?
But for the cats that is always too hot. They skulk always around and search for a shadow place that they will always be sorry. Who is running voluntary in summertime with a fur coat?

Irgendwann denken sie, ich habe den am besten klimatisierten Platz gefunden und legen sich in meine Nähe.

Es war den ganzen Tag so warm, dass ich bis abends 11 Uhr draußen gesessen habe. Zum spinnen brauche ich nicht wirklich Tageslicht, aber der Coburger Fuchs, den ich in meinem Lager gefunden und nachmittags noch angefangen habe, hat für ein gekauftes Garn noch reichlich Grasreste drin, die man im dunklen schlecht sieht und noch schlechter entfernen kann. 
It was warm all the day and I sat until 11 in the night outside. For spinning I don´t need daylight, but the Coburg fox, I found in my stash and astarted in teh afternoon has a lot of veggie inside for a bought wool. I don´t see that in the dark and cannot remove it easily.

Gestern habe ich dann weitergesponnen, weil es wieder so schön war. Habe die Spule voll bekommen und wieder was gelernt: der Wirtelumbau meiner kleinen Ziege ist tatsächlich dauertauglich. Auch die umgearbeiteten Kiwi-Spulen funktionieren einwandfrei und ich bringe sie richtig voll. Auf dieser werden etwas mehr als 100gr sein, schätze ich. Insgesamt waren 150gr in diesem Beutel und viel ist nicht mehr übrig. Das Spinnen ging recht gut und flüssig, ich denke ich habe das Zicklein ganz gut im Griff, so dass ich es dieses mal mit zum Kreativmarkt nach Naila mitnehmen werde. 
Und ich habe, haha, festgestellt, dass auch bei Kaufwolle kleine Knubbelchen in der Wolle sind. Das liegt wohl daran, dass es kein Kammzug, sondern ein kardiertes und gezogenes  Band ist. Also ähnlich, wie das, was ich mache. Damit schaut doch dieser Teil der Verarbeitung gar nicht so schlecht aus :-) 
Im Moment bin ich dabei, eine zweite Spule zu füllen, damit ich nach dem zwirnen sehe, wie es mit dem kratzen aussieht. Ein aktueller Vergleichstest am Hals sagt mir keinen großen Unterschied. Das wäre natürlich super. Allerdings ist es eben "raue" Schafwolle, ganz ohne ein bissel kratzen wird da nix gehen. Dieser Test soll ein Paar Socken für mich werden.


Yesterday I spun away as we had same nice weather. Filled my bobbin and learned something more: The changing of the whorl of my little goat is really to use for longer time. Also the changed Kiwi bobbins does their work and I can make them full. On this it will be litllem ore than 100gr I estmate. Alltogether it was 150g in the bag and I have only a little rest. Spinning was good and fast and I belive I have as good hand on the goat that I will take this wheel this time to the creative market in autumn.
And I havem, tada, found out that alos in bought wool are some small balls. I think that´s why it is carded and not combed. So similar than I prepare my wool. With this information my work doe not looks much more bad :-)
At the moment I fill the second bobbin that I xcan see after twisting how much it scratch (or if). A current comparision on the neck feel no real difference. That would be really good news. But it is rough sheep wool without scratching it will not be. From this test I will knit a pair of socks for me.

Unsere Miniamseln sind geschlüpft! Ich hatte Glück und die Mama war grad nicht im Nest, als ich mit dem Fotoapparat in der Hand mal geschaut habe. Immer wenn ich in den Tagen vorher gesehen habe, dass sie nicht da ist, bin ich geschwind reingelaufen, um ihn zu holen, aber sobald ich zurück war, war die Mama auch schon wieder da. Also habe ich sie dieses Mal gleich in der Hand und Glück gehabt. Hinterher habe ich auch gesehen, dass unterhalb vom Nest eine zerbrochene Eierschale gelegen hat, noch ein bissel Eigelb drin. Hoffentlich ist das nicht rausgefallen und geräubert worden, sondern wirklich nur das Nest aufgeräumt. Jetzt endlich kann man auch die Farbe gut erkennen: es ist hellgrün mit braunen Sprenkeln.

Our mini blackbirds are hatched! I got lucky and mum was away as I looked in with the camara in the hand.
Always in the days before, when I saw she was absent and I run to pick the camera she was faster back than me. So this time I had the camera with me and could catch a picture. After that picture I found an empty eggshell on the bottom under the hedge with little yellow inside. Hopefully it wa snot fallen out and was robbered, but onyl clean the nest! Now also the color can be seen good: it is menthgreen with brown speckles.

Ich habe es mal mitgenommen und in mein gefundenes Nest gelegt. Nun liegt beides in meinem Küchen-Korkenzieherhasel zur Deko :-)
I took it with me and put into the found small nest. Now both are in my kitchen window in the drilled hazelnut twig for decoration  :-)
