Es gab viel zu tun in der letzten Zeit.

There was a lot to do in the last weeks.

Angefangen hat es mit der 750 Jahrfeier zur Kirchweih in Bug/Bruck. In unserer lokalen Kleinzeitung war ein großer Artikel, der online auch noch zu lesen ist.

Started with the 750th  aniversary for the churchfair in Bug/Bruck. In our lokal newspaper was a half page report, which can be read also online. (sorry, only in German)

Bis ich am Sonntag dort mit meinen Spinnrad hingefahren bin, habe ich mich 2 Dinge gefragt: Wo ist eigentlich die Kirche? und: Wem gehören die Schafe, die ich jeden Morgen und Abend sehe, wenn ich da auf dem Weg zu Arbeit und nach Hause vorbeifahre?
Die Frage der Kirche hat sich dann am Sonntag morgen für ich geklärt... es gibt keine! Aber die Leute dort wollen nicht auf ihre "Kärwa" verzichten, also feiern sie sie jedes Jahr. Allerdings haben sie jetzt einen Gedenkstein gesetzt, damit die jährliche Feier nicht ohne Grund ist.

Before I was there on Sunday morning with my sopinning wheel I asked me two things: Where is the church? and: whose sheeps are this I see every morning and evening on my way to work.
The question about the church was answered on SUnday morning... there is no church! But the people don´t want to miss their yearly celebration, and so they do it each year. But this year they set up a memorial stone to remind to the curch, now they have a reason.

Unser Klöppelkreis war eingeladen, vor Ort zu klöppeln und da wir nicht nur Klöppeln, sondern auch anderweitig mit Nadel und Faden gut zurecht kommen, waren auch Weißnäher und eben zwei Spinner(innen) zu sehen.

Our bobbinlace circle was invited to show what we do. And as we are all not only play with bobbins, the most of us have alo other handcraft hobbies, we also could come with two spinners and 4 ladies with white sewing. 

Ich habe in der Woche davor einen Klöppelmarathon aufs Kissen gelegt, damit ich noch ein paar hübsche Sachen mitnehmen und aufstellen konnte...

I made a bobbin marathon in the week before, that I finish some nice things to show...

Es war ein schöner Tag, bis auf das Wetter. Wie gesagt, wurde meine erste Frage gleich früh beantwortet. Die zweite gleich beim Mittagessen, als die andere Spinnerin und ich uns gegen 11 auf den Weg machten, bevor Unmengen von Menschen kommen und es sehr lange dauern würde, etwas zu essen zu bekommen. Es gab Lamm. Und die Leute haben wir stolz erzählt, dass es Lamm aus dem Ort wäre. Und so wurde mir die Antwort auf meine brennendste Frage gleich mit dem Essen serviert. Die Schafe gehören Ingo. Und Ingo war auch da. Auf meine Frage, was er denn mit seiner ganzen Schafwolle macht, bekam ich zur Antwort er gibt sie dem Scherer mit, weil er das nicht selber macht. Dann wird das Scheren billiger. Blob. Blase geplatzt. Und dann meint er, aber der nimmt nur die weiße Wolle, weil er die in die Fabrik gibt, von der braunen hätte er aber noch was da. Klingeling. Gibt es doch noch eine Möglichkeit, Wolle aus der Gegend zu bekommen? Ich soll nach der Kärwa mal vorbeikommen, dann schaun wir mal.

It was a beautiful day, except of the weather. As I told the first question was answered in the morning. The second at lunch time as the other spinner and me walked down to the grill. We went at 11 before the uncounted visitor should come and we would need an hour to catch something to eat. They served lamb. And the men on the gril told me proudly that it is a lamb from the village. And so I got my second answer. The sheeps are Ingos. And Ingo was also there. At my question what he do with all the wool he said the external shearer take it then it´s cheaper and he has not the problem what to do with it. Blob. The bobble was destroied. And then he said: but the shearer only takes teh white wool, because he give it into the manufactury. And brown he has a little. Ring ring. Is there really a chance to get wool from the local neighborhood? I should come next week and we will see.

Und natürlich war ich in der Woche drauf bei Ingo uns habe nochmal in Ruhe mit ihm geschwatzt. Allerdings habe ich 2 Anläufe gebraucht. Die Vorbereitung für dieses Fest hat schon recht lange gedauert. Mindestens eine Woche vorher haben sie angefangen, das große Festzelt aufzubauen. Dass es dann nicht an nur einem Nachmittag wieder abgebaut werden kann, ist eigentlich logisch... wenn man nicht ein dringendes Bedürfnis nach Informationen hat. Ich habe zwei Säcke mit Wolle bekommen und muss dafür "nur" ein paar Socken für Ingo stricken. Klingt wie ein gutes Geschäft, aber Ingo hat die größten Füße der Sockentabelle: 47, da wird ich ein Weilchen brauchen.

And naturally I was there in the week after and we talked a little. But I needed two times to catch him. The village a lot of time to prepare this weekend, minimum a week for the big tent. Clear that it will not finished within  only a day... if  I didn´t have an important necessary on information. I got two sacks full of wool and have "only" to knit a pair of socks for Ingo. Sounds like a good deal, but he has the biggest feet in my sizetable: 47, I will need a little time for that.

Zu Hause habe ich gleich mal reingeschaut in die Säcke und habe 3 verschiedene Wolle herausfinden können, einmal weiß mit schönen langen Fasern, einmal braun mit blonden Spitzen und auch wunderschönen langen Fasern und einmal grau mit recht kurzen Fasern. Nachdem ich nun fast alles gewaschen habe, denke ich es ist zweierlei weiß dabei, aber genau kann ich es halt nicht sagen. Gewogen habe ich die Säcke auch mal und bin auf 8kg und 5kg gekommen, allerdings mit allem, was da drin war.

Back at home I had a look in and found three different kind of wool. One white with nice long fibers, one in brown with blond tips and also verly long fibers and one in grey and short fibers. After washing of approximately all I think the white is once more two different, but I`m not really sure. The weight of alltogether (including the sacks and the dirt) was 5kg once and 8 kilo the other.

Es ist die erste Rohwolle, die ich in der Hand habe und nun hat ein Probieren beim Waschen angefangen. Erst im Bottich in der Dusche, das geht unheimlich auf den Rücken. Ist also bei der Menge nicht zu empfehlen. Am Ende hab ich jetzt eine schöne einfache Lösung. Waschen in der Waschmaschine in einem Kissenbezug und dann trocknen auf dem Wäscheständer. Was dann noch an Schmutz in den Spitzen drin ist, ist recht krümelig und fällt beim Kardieren raus. Apropos Schmutz, sehr dreckig war die Wolle nicht, weil Ingo sie immer erst scheren lässt, bevor er im Winter die Schafe in den Stall bringt. Die Wolle von Louis, dem Lama hat mehr Dreck drin gehabt und das waren gerade mal 500gr! Die Schafwolle ist sehr fettig und das muss raus, sonst lässt es sich nicht schön spinnen (ich habs probiert, geht gar nicht!) Allerdings wird sie dann auch trocken und kratzt. Nun suche ich eine Lösung, sie wieder weich zu bekommen... hm hm momentan mach ich zum Spüli und Essig auch Weichspüler in die Waschmaschine, das fasst sich recht gut an. Mal schauen, was beim Spinnen so rauskommt.

It is the first raw wool I have seen and now I´m on testing with washing. First in a big tube in the shower. But that´s note nice for the back. So with this quantity it is not to suggest. At the end I made it simply and easy. I wash it in the washing machine in a pillow case and then I dry it on the clothes dryer. What now is still in on dirt will fall out when I card. 
By the way it is not really dirty wool because Ingo let cut the sheep before he bring them into the stable for winter. The wool from Louis the llama had more dirt inside and this was maximum 500gr!
The sheepwool is really greasy and this must removed, otherwise spinning will be a nightmare ( I tested it and it is really a no go!) But then it will dry and scatchy. Now I search for a solution to get it again soft... hm hm at the moment I use dishwasher cleaner and acid and put extra softener in. The touch is not bad. I will see how it looks after spinning.

ganz schön zusammengestaucht aber nicht verfilzt, so dass es sich recht leicht auseinanderzupfen lässt.

Übrigens hab ich auch verschiedene Versuche im Wäschetrockner gemacht. Ich habe einen wunderschönen neuen, bei dem man alles mögliche einstellen kann und den man auch für 2 Trocknungsergebnisse programmieren kann. Das grau hat sich in kleine Knubbel verwandelt, die man mühselig wieder auseinanderzupfen muss. Das weiß ist schön locker geblieben, muss aber auch noch einmal auseinander gezupft werden zum kardieren, also bin ich davon wieder weg gegangen. Bei schönem Wetter trocknet die Wolle draußen an einem Tag. Der Trockner hat den Vorteil, dass auch hier noch einmal ganz schön Schmutz aus den verklebten Spitzen rausgeklopft wird und ich denke auch, dass durch die Bewegung beim trocknen die vielen kurzen Haare, die sonst rausschauen und stacheln mit rausgeschmissen werden. Ich werde es vielleicht nochmal mit weichgespülter Wolle probieren, vielleicht geht das besser. Einen Versuch ist es allemal wert und Versuch macht kluch.

By the way I made different tests with the dryer machine. I got a brandnew one where I can program 100 things for everything and I can store 2 programs as favourites. The test with grey made a lot of small balls. I will have a lot of fun to open them for carding. the white was better but must also pluck before carding. So I let it, it makes more work then without. If we have nice weather it will be dry in one day.

Die kurzen und extrem verdreckten Fasern hab ich mir mal beiseite gelegt. Auf einen Kissenbezug voll kommt da ungefähr ein Kochtopf voll davon zusammen. Die weiche ich dann darin ein und spüle sie mehrfach durch, bis das Wasser klar ist. Ich will mal schauen, ob ich davon Pantoffeln filzen kann. Alles zusammengemischt sind das lustige "bunte" Fliese.

Eine Runde weiß habe ich vor dem Kardieren mal zum Sonnenfärben ins Glas gesteckt. Mal schauen, was dabei rauskommt, irgendwas mit Lila und rosa ist geplant...

The short and extrem dirt fibers I put beside. For a pillow case full of the other I have a pot full of the short. I fill the pot with water and let soak it. After a lot of rinse ways I maybe can use these for felting slippers. All together mixed it makes colored fleeces.

One of the white ones I put in the galss for solar deying. I will see what it will be at the end. Something with lilac and pink is planned.

ein echter Urlaubstag - a real vacation day

Heute haben wir es geschafft, einen richtigen Urlaustag einzulegen. So richtig mit wegfahren und was hübsches anschauen. Allerdings war der Plan etwas anders als am Ende durchgeführt. Geplant war ein Besuch im Tropenhaus am Rennsteig in Tettau. Ein Bericht im Fernsehen hat mich darauf gebracht. Leider habe ich den nur nebenher verfolgt, so dass ich nur so ungefähr mitbekommen habe, um was es dort geht. Ich wurde erst hellhörig, als gesagt wurde, wo das steht. Nämlich fast "um die Ecke". Um 10 losgefahren, standen wir kurz vor 11 vor der Eingangstür... und da standen wir auch, weil am 12. und 13. das Tropenhaus geschlossen hat. Morgen kommen wohl einige wichtige Politiker und dafür wurde heute geschrubbt und  gewienert. Also weiß ich nun genauso viel wie vorher. Nur, dass es sich um eine Art ökologisches Projekt handelt, bei dem die tropische Wärme aus Industrieabwärme genutzt wird und der Dünger aus den angeschlossenen Fischbecken kommt. Nun ja, irgendwann kommen keine Politiker, dann bin ich wieder da.

Today we made it, a real vacation day. With going out and have a look for something nice. Bute the plan was different to the reality. It was planned a visit at the Tropical house at Rennsteig in Tettau. A report in TV was the reason. Unfortunately I did not follow the complete Report only with one ear and eye. I only was careful as they told where this should be. Namely "aroung the corner". Started at 10 we arrived at approximately 11 and stand before the door ... and that was what we made. Because on 12th and 13th the tropical house was closed. Tomorrow a lot of politician should come and so htey cleaned and scrubbed it. And now I know the same as before. Only that it should be an ecologically project which works with industrial waste heat and the fertilizer will come from the fish tanks which are included in the system. Ok, sometimes are no politicians in and then I will come back.

Auf dem Weg dorthin sind wir an der ältesten Porzellanmanufaktur Deutschlands vorbei gekommen, zumindest sagt das mein Mann. Mein Fokus war mehr auf das Schild "Werksverkauf" gerichtet. Oh je, da kann man wirklich Geld loswerden... muss man aber nicht. Es gibt einen richtig großen Verkaufsraum, bei dem 1A Ware schön arrangiert zu guten Preisen zu finden ist, aber auch "Krabbelkisten" mit 2. Wahl, die nicht nur erschwinglich, sondern fast schon günstig ist. Solange man kein komplettes Service möchte. Beim Warten an der Kasse kam eine Familie, die eine Führung gebucht hatte, herein und wir wurden gefragt, ob wir die auch mitgehen wollen. Kostet nix extra, außer man möchte selber Porzellan bemalen, also sind wir mitgegangen. Das war sehr interessant, danach geht man mit ganz anderem Blick durch den Verkaufsraum. Mein absoluter Liebling war das Tee-Set von Hundertwasser im Schneckendesign das Stövchen ist recht lang und bildet den Schneckenkörper und die Teekanne ist das Schneckenhaus. Eine von den Malerinnen hat gerade an der Kanne die dritte (oder vierte?) Schicht aufgebracht... und erst da habe ich gesehen, dass das Schneckengehäuse auf einer Seite nach außen geht und auf der anderen nach innen. Wow, was für ein Design. Nach jeder Farbgebung kommt das Teil in den Ofen und wird gebrannt, also mindestens 3 mal. Nun braucht man sich nicht mehr über einen Preis von mehr als 950,-€ pro Set (günstigstes gefundenes im Internet) wundern. Es ist eine limitierte Auflage von 999 Stück, die alle durchnummeriert sind und mit einem Zertifikat versehen.

On the way to the Tropical house we passed the oldest German Chinas Manufactory, at lesast my husband told me. My focus was more orientated on the plate "factory sale". Oh oh, there you can let money ... but is not necessary. They have a real big sales room where beautiful 1A products are in showcases arranged on the walls around with good prices. But they also have "creepy-crates" with 2nd Quality, it is not only affordable... it´s cheap. As long as you don´t need a complete set. While we wait on the cash desk a family came in they booked a tour through the manufatory. They ask us if we want to join and as it was for free we went with them. It was really interesting, after that you go with different eyes through the show room.
My absolutely favorite was a tea-set in a Hundertwasser snail design. The warmer is the long body and the pot is the snailhouse. One of the painters has worked on a pot (the 3rd or 4th layer?) and earliest then I have seen that the housing is going in on one side and going out on the other. Wow, what a design. After each colour layer the pot will moved through the oven so minimum 3 times. No more wondering about a price more than 950,-€ for each set (the cheapest found in the Internet). It is a limited Edition with 999 pieces and is numbered and certified.

Natürlich habe ich ein paar Souvenirs mitgenommen. Zusammen mit einer schönen bauchigen Teekanne, einem (fast) passendem Stövchen, einer Teetasse im selben Design und auch einer (wieder fast) passenden Untertasse. Leider war alles nur einmal da, so dass ich meinen Tee stilgerecht allein trinken muss. Aber dafür habe ich jetzt auch eine Suppenterrine mit Deckel (brauch ich die?) Und natürlich Krimskrams, den man nur im Urlaub kauft und auch nur dann genehmigt bekommt.

Naturally I picked up some souveniers. Together with a tea pot, a (almost) warmer a cup in  the same design and a (almost again) saucer. Unfortunately it was only a single piece so that I must drink my tea in style alone. But for that I have a soup tureen (do I need it?) And a lot of odds and ends which only will be bought on vacation and only got approved then.

Meine Idee war es ja, hinterher noch einmal in einer anderen Stadt, als unserer einkaufen zu gehen, da man bei uns irgendwie immer nur das Selbe bekommt und das ist meist nicht sehr ansprechend, oder man muss ewig lange suchen.

My next idea was after that to drive into another city as ours to go shopping. At home are always the same shops with the same things. It is not really interesting.

Aber unser Weg führte nach Saalfeld in die Feengrotten. Puh, da war ich das letzte mal vor fast 20 Jahren. Es war deshalb fast wie zum ersten Mal. Aber was ich festgestellt habe nach dieser langen Zeit, ist, dass die dort unheimlich was in Sachen Werbung und Marketing getan haben. Hut ab. Nun nutzen sie endlich die ganzen Möglichkeiten, die sich mit Feen verbinden lassen und es ist wirklich hübsch aufgemacht!

But we decide to drive to Saalfeld to have a look into the Fairygrottos. Puh, there I was the last time 20 years ago. So it was like the first time. But what I saw after this long time is that they made a lot of things for advertisemnt and marketing. Now they use alle the possibilities which can be joined with fairies. And it is really good made!

Natürlich habe ich auch hier meinen Souvenirdrang nicht in die Schranken gewiesen, sondern nur an der langen Leine austoben lassen. Ich habe nun endlich einen Flaschenteufel... und habe ihn nach 20 Jahren tatsächlich auch zum tanzen gebracht. Wie schön.

Naturally I did not rejected my souvenir urge in the barries, only on the long line. Now I have a bottle devil... and after 20 years I can let dance him. Beautiful.

Alles in allem ein schöner Tag, das Wetter war super, so dass er wirklich in die Kategorie Urlaubstagebuch gehört.

Kleinigkeiten - some small things

Zuallererst ist das Set angekommen und ich freue mich, dass es passt. Das Garn war schon sehr gut dafür, weich und elastisch, so kann die Jacke noch ein Stückel mitwachsen. Ein letztes, dass ich am Morgen noch schnell eingenäht habe, war natürlich das handmade-Schildchen.

 

First of all the jacket-set is arrived and I´m happy that it suit. The yarn was the right, soft and elastc, so the the jacket can grow with Agatka.  The last I made on the shipping morning was tha handmade label.

Marta, I will answer your mail this week, as I have some das free.

 

 

 

Es hat sich nicht wirklich viel getan in letzter Zeit, aber es sind einige kleine Dinge fertig geworden, oder überhaupt geworden. Ein paar andere Sachen haben eine neue Stufe erreicht in ihrem Fortschritt. Anfangen will ich mit dem ältesten Projekt, dass mich schon seit ca. 2 Jahren auf Trab hält. Es gibt ein wunderschönes Buch von Jana Novak, die eine Weihnachtskrippe zum klöppeln entworfen hat, bei der man so ziemlich alles klöppelt, auch die Krippe. Das hat mir so gut gefallen, dass ich mir das Buch gekauft habe und seitdem mehr oder weniger fleißig an den verschiedenen Figuren werkele. Am besten gefällt mir,  dass die Klöppelarbeit so gut zur Geltung kommt, da die Figuren dafür aus Glas sind, so dass man wirklich vordergründig die Arbeit sieht.

It is little low at the moment, but some small things were finished, some things were done completely and some things got a new stage on their way to the end.
I will start with a Project I work since two years meanwhile. I found a very beautiful book from Jana Novak called Crib. It was so nice that I bought the book  and since then I work piece by piece on the figures. The bist is that the Corps are from glass, so tha you have a intensive view on the work.

Ein Grund, warum sich das so in die Länge zieht, ist wohl, dass ich im Moment nur daran herumklöppele, wenn ich montags zu den Klöppelmädels gehe. Also einmal in der Woche für ca. 3 Stunden das ganze für ein viertel Jahr. Dann ist ein viertel Jahr Pause, bevor es weitegeht. Also schon recht selten.
Aktuell sind Maria, Josef und die drei Könige ohne Krone fertig. Als nächstes sollte ich wohl das Jesuskind in Angriff nehmen, dann wäre zumindest die heilige Familie komplett.

One reason why it need so long could be that I only work on it if I meet my bobbin lace girls on Monday. So once a week for 3 hours for 3 Month. Then we make brake for three next month before we meet again.
The current Status is that Maria, Josef and the three kings (without crown) are ready. As next I should make the Jesuschild then the holy Family will be complete.

Ein anderes Projekt ist auch fertig geworden. Eulen. Ich liebe sie einfach, nicht erst, seit sie zur Zeit in Mode sind. Auch wieder geklöppelt, hat eine Riesenspaß gemacht, weil man nur ganz wenige Klöppelpaare braucht und sie in einem Stück durchklöppeln kann. Einfach anfangen und in einem Rutsch durch. Das hat mir so gut gefallen, dass ich auf der Homepage von Ina Meinhold noch ein bissel gestöbert habe und noch andere wunderschöne Klöppelbriefe gefunden habe. Auch wieder Orchideen. Für die diesjährige Geburtstagsorchidee war es leider etwas zu spät. Tut mir leid, Brüderchen :-) Aber Deine ist schon fertig.

 

Another Project is also finished. Owls. I love them, not only since they are always  available. Also in bobbin lace it made a lot of fun as I only needed a handful of bobbins and I could go through in one step. This I found so good, that I was searching through the Website of Ina Meinhold and found some other nice Patterns. Also orchids. For the current birthday-orchid it was too late, sorry brother :-) But yours is finihed.

Für beide habe ich ein normales Häkelgarn genommen, damit sie groß genug für ein Fensterbild wird

 

For both I used a common crochet cotton yarn that I can make it big as for a window picture

 

Bei der dritten habe ich einen Versuch mit Sisal-Garn gemacht. Eine von den Mädels hat es mitgebracht. Ich hab sie zwar fertig gemacht, aber ich habe beschlossen, dass dieses Garn nicht wirklich geeignet ist, um  ein komplettes Objekt zu klöppeln. Mir ist mindestens drei mal der Faden gerissen und es so gefasert, dass ich hinterher dachte, die Wollmäuse sind bei mir eingezogen. Das taugt maximal als Beilauffaden, wo er nicht oft um eine Nadel gelegt werden muss. Dafür ist er eindeutig zu steif und locker.

 

For the third I made a test with Sisal yarn, one of the girls was the donator. I finished it with this yarn but found out it´s not the best to use it for a complete object. Minimum 3 times the thread was teared and lost a lot of small fibers that I thought the woolmices moved in. I only can use it as ornamental thread, for that it is too stiff and loose

 

 

 

 Mehr wird vorerst nicht gezeigt, sonst ist ja die Überraschung weg.

Diese Woche hatten wir auch ein richtig tolles Sommerwetter so dass ich ein bisschen mit Sonnenfärben herumexperimentieren konnte. Im Großen und Ganzen habe ich mich schon an das gehalten, was da steht, aber wo bekommt man solche Riesengläser her? Auf der angegebenen Adresse bin ich nicht so recht fündig geworden, vielleicht war der Post ja auch schon zu alt. Wir hatten kurz vorher einen kleinen Eimer mit Schaumküssen geleert, der schien mir von der Größe ideal. Hm, Algenbefall von Regenwasser? Ich hab es halt mal abgekocht das Regenwasser. Ich habe nach dem einfüllen des heißen Regenwassers den Deckel immer mal wieder geöffnet, wenn er sich gebläht hat. Das hat zumindest das Explodieren verhindert, da der Eimer bei normaler Temperatur leichten Unterdruck hatte. Nun scheint er auf Dauer verformt zu sein, macht aber nix. Was zu essen kommt da eh nicht mehr rein.

Und ich habe wieder zu viele verschiedene Farben genommen. Obwohl ich sie schichtweise in den Eimer gelegt und nicht geschüttelt oder bewegt habe, hat sich das Ganze dann doch irgendwie vermischt. Das Resultat schaut aber doch ganz putzig aus.

Inzwischen habe ich ein 2-Liter Glass in einem Ausverkauf erstanden, leider war es das letzte. Aber ich habe gleich einen Rest Wolle mit diesmal nur 2 Farben angesetzt. Zwiebelschale und Krapp. Die Zwiebelschale soll braun machen, das Krapp leuchtet richtig orange... im Moment.

 

This week we had really nice summer weather so that I could experiment with solar deying. for the biggest part I made it as decribed, but where I can get such big glasses? The source on the homepage was not really helpful, maybe the post was too old, but I could not find glasses big enough. We made a medium pail of foam kisses empty and this looks good for me. Hm rainwater makes seaweed? I cooked it and it works. I filled the hotz water in and berfore it was cold I opened the cover from time to time, when it was bloated. That helps that it not exploded. But now the pail is deformed.

But onced again I took too much different colours inside. I put it in layer by layer and did not shake or moved, but nevertheless at the end all was mixed. But the result looks funny.

Meanwhile I found a 2 liter glass in a advertisement, unfortunately it was the last. But I filled it with my last coil of yarn and this time with only two colours.

Onion Skin and madder. Onion should make Brown and madder shine in a tough orange ... at the Moment.

 

 

 Ich nehme für solche Experiment gerne Sockenwolle in wollweiß. Die kaufe ich, wenn sie im Angebot ist. Wenn es nix wird, war es wenigstens nicht teuer.

 

I use sockwool in cremewhite for such experiments. These I buy if I see it in advertisement. If the result is bad, it was not too expensive.

 

Und nach diesen heißen Tagen hat es den ganzen Nachmittag gedonnert. Nun regnet es und ich konnte einen Regenbogen fangen.

And after this hot days today since afternoon it is thunder all the time. Now it is raining and I could catch a rainbow.
