ich habe mir ein kleines Körbchen an das Spinnrad gebastelt, nun liegt die Wolle nicht mehr auf dem Fußboden und ich muss auch keine kurzen Stücke abtrennen. Ich trenne mir den Strang nur der Länge nach in schmale Streifen
I attached a small basket on the spinning wheel. Now the wool does not run over the bottom and I don´t have to take small pieces from the big ball. I only split small rows from the complete length.

Ich möchte versuchen, es zum klöppeln zu nehmen, weil ich ein schönes Schalmuster mit Blumen and Blättern habe. Dafür habe ich dem Spinnfaden und dem gezwirnten Faden richtig viel Drall gegeben. Das erste Mal habe ich die Übersetzung beim Spinnrad auf die höchste Stufe gestellt. Bisher habe ich das nicht gebraucht. Aber es macht wirklich Sinn für so dünnes Garn. Ich habe festgestellt, dass das Rad dabei lauter ist und je voller die Spule wurde, umso mehr hatte ich das Gefühl, dass es gleich abhebt. Es gibt eine ganz schöne Vibration.
I want to test if I can use it for Bobbin Lace, because I have a nice pattern with flowers and leaves. For that I gave a big turning on the single thread and the twist. it was the first time that I made the translation on the highest level. Until then I didn´t need it, but it makles sense for such thin yarn. I detected, that the wheel make louder noises and the fuller the coils was the more I got the feeling it will take off each moment. There is a lot of vibration in.

Der erste Versuch ist sehr gut geworden, das Garn ist nicht gerissen, oder hat sich aufgedreht. Allerdings werden die 750m wohl nicht reichen. Ich muss also den zweiten Zopf auch spinnen.
The first test was good, the yarn is not broken and not untwisted. But I think the 750m will not enough it should spin the second braid too
Ich benutze gerne die Schildchen, die am Wollstrang hängen, um die Lauflänge darauf zu notieren. Das Gewicht vom Strang ist etwas geringer, weil ich, selbst wenn ich den Strang in zwei gleichschwere Hälften teile, nicht beide Teile auf die selbe Länge bekomme. Es bleibt also immer auf einer Spule ein Rest beim 2fach zwirnen.
I like it to use the plates from the wool for notices about the result. The weight of this ball is a little less, because, also if I divide the complete braid in two parts, I´m not able to spin both parts in the same length. On one of the coils I always have a little rest at double twisting

Das Muster hat einen großen Braunanteil. Ich hoffe, das Blau kommt bei dem kompletten Schal mehr durch
The sample has a big brown part. I hope the blue is better to see in the complete shawl
