es war die Jungrau... - it was the virgin...

... and not the twin. How could I so confused? The right wool plate was in the basket!  But all what will not fixed will go away.

Hwo can read can see that 2x wool cannot be the twin :-)

this is the rest of 338m warp. I think the light and dark suit good together!

Unfortunately these both bobbins are the rest... and backside of the shawl. The weaving failure I included into the pattern and is better to see on the backside *lol  It looks like devided rapports.

As I don´t want to have this scarf in only 1,50m or shorter I tried to dye this color again with easteregg colors. I earliest will see after spinning, if I catch the right. Ok, this shawl is for me as my first planned weaving piece. It does no matter if the color runs trough continious.

The next projects I have in mind but before I did not finish the shawl I don´t have to make big actions

With the orange-green pattern I want to weave a longer towel and the with heart pattern maybe once more a shawl. You must have good eyes to see where the hearts are but with only 4 shafts and 6 treadles it was not easy to draw it without crossing more than 2 or 3 threads. I should make a test before i start with a shawl.

Die 4. Runde Wolle im ersten Aufguss mit Krapp.
The 4th round wool  in the first soup with madder.

Last sunday we made a walk through the wood in the near and found this breakfast place. I think it was not the fellow on the right :-)

Aber den ersten Pilz haben wir gefunden.
But we found the first mushroom

And a tree with old and new pinecones. It makes me always smile if I see a tree with old and new together.

And I found the right for my fairy wool. It is a lace pullover from Vogue knitting holidays 2014

If I don´t want to knit in one color I need a nice contrast for the frame. Black is too dark, so I think I will decide for yellow.

And as the spinning of teh yellow will need a little I can start with my black-brown cardigan. 50/50 welshwool and Jacob sheep from Wollschaf. I was little confused because both fibers looked completely same. After a call at Wollschaf I got as answer that they really look similar but I could define on the smell. Ok, I will believe it.
